BloomsburgSTORYLINEThe No. 6 Edinboro women's basketball team travels to Bloomsburg on Tuesday evening to take on the No. 16 Huskies in a rematch of the 2014 Atlantic Regional title game. The two PSAC members are playing in a non-conference game. The Fighting Scots look to get back into the win column after a 76-48 loss in their home opener to California (Pa.) last Saturday that dropped them to 3-1 overall and 1-1 in the PSAC West. Bloomsburg has won two games in a row and is 2-1 overall this year and 2-0 in the PSAC East.

BloomsburgSERIES HISTORYEdinboro leads 14-11• Bloomsburg had won three games in a row in the series until Edinboro claimed an 82-76 decision in the Atlantic Regional Championship last year. The Huskies have won three of the last four regular season games in the series and two of the last three at home.
EDINBORO STARTING FIVE EDINBORO QUICK THREE• California (Pa.) outscored Edinboro 40-14 in the first half on its way to a 76-48 victory in the Scots last contest. It was the Fighting Scots largest home loss since losing 81-52 to Millersville in 2002-03. Edinboro shot 19-for-59 (32.2 percent) for the game. It was the Scots worst shooting percentage from the floor since February 20, 2013 at Indiana (Pa.) when they shot 18-for-55 (32.7 percent) in a 57-45 win.
Hope Mancini led the Fighting Scots in scoring for the third time this season. She was the only Edinboro player to reach double figures with 11 points on 5-for-14 shooting.
Laurel Lindsay neared a double-double scoring eight points and pulling down 11 rebounds, one shy of her career-high set against Bloomsburg during the 2012-13 campaign.
Alexis Bowen appeared in her second career game and finished with nine points on 3-for-6 from the floor including 2-for-4 on 3-pointers in 23 minutes.

Stan Swank is closing in on a historic mark. The PSAC all-time leader in coaching victories is only four wins away from becoming the first coach in conference history to reach 500 career wins. Swank is in his 28th season at the helm of the Fighting Scots. Edinboro has been particularly successful as of late, winning 108 of their last 128 games, good for an 84.4 win percentage. In that time the Fighting Scots have captured three PSAC titles, an Atlantic Region title, and an Elite Eight appearance. Swank reached 600 career victories in last Wednesday's 68-57 win at Seton Hill. He previously coached at Parkland Junior College for four seasons.

Hope Mancini is leading the Fighting Scots in scoring this year. The graduate student is averaging 15.8 ppg. and has scored in double figures in all four games. For her career, Mancini has made 64 3-pointers on 180 attempts and is currently tied for fifth all-time in Edinboro history for career 3-point percentage at 35.6 percent.
SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG• Bloomsburg has won two in a row after an opening season loss with wins over Cheyney and Shippensburg The Huskies are seventh in the PSAC in scoring offense (72.7 ppg.), 10th in scoring defense (65.7 ppg.), and have been taking care of the ball with only 13.3 turnovers per game, the second best mark in the conference.
• Taylor Maldonado has been a revelation for Bloomsburg. The Florida Southern transfer earned PSAC East Athlete of the Week honors last week and is tied for the team lead with 15.3 ppg. Maldonado has 11 assists and 11 steals also lead the Huskies. The graduate student guard scored 19 points versus Shippensburg last Saturday.
