EDINBORO, Pa. – The Edinboro University women's lacrosse recently visited McKean Elementary School to help the children celebrate American Heart Association week. The athletes interacted with the elementary students, doing a variety of healthy activities and demonstrating safety habits. Two players spoke during the assembly to explain how healthy eating and sleeping habits are necessary to be successful in whichever sport they may pursue, and emphasized that having a kind heart is very important to teamwork and team success.
