ERIE, Pa. – Members of the Edinboro University wheelchair basketball and football teams joined forces on Friday, March 24 to challenge the Erie City and Council to a game of wheelchair basketball at Erie Insurance Arena as part of "On the Ball!". The event was part of a fundraiser to benefit the Erie-based Mission Empower and the Edinboro University wheelchair basketball team.

Vitaliy Gurman, and Dominick Hitchcock. The Fighting Scots and the Erie City and Council squared off in a 5-on-5 contest as part of an effort to raise awareness on disability and show how athletes with disabilities break barriers through fair play, teamwork, athletics, and athleticism.
