Women's Soccer Helps with Painting at Erie's JFK Center

ERIE, Pa. -- The Edinboro University women's soccer team spent their Sunday morning doing some very meaningful community service. Head coach Gary Kagiavas, assistant coach Jamie Sallie, and the members of the women's soccer team headed to nearby Erie to to do several painting projects at the JFK Center. The John F. Kennedy Center is a nonprofit social service agency The agency addresses the health education, social, and vocational needs of lower income residents, specifically targeting disadvantaged areas in the city of Erie. The JFK Center serves over 600 clients a year through its senior and youth programs. Now the facility will look a little better to those clients thanks to the efforts of the Edinboro women's soccer team.
