EDINBORO, Pa. -- The Edinboro University women's soccer team took some time away from the books to volunteer with the American Red Cross this past Wednesday at the Frank G. Pogue Student Center. The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of an emergency through dedicated volunteers and the generosity of donors. Through its network of volunteers, donors and partners, the nonprofit organization aids over 100+ million people across the world each year. Fighting Scot head coach Gary Kagiavas, assistant coach Jamie Sallie and the members of the women's soccer team left Wednesday's blood drive knowing that they played a small part in helping many people across the globe.
