Earned second team All-PSAC West accolades after starting all 31 games and finishing third on the team in scoring at 14.2 ppg. … added 2.5 rpg., while finishing fourth on the team in assists (65) and third in steals (36) … was second on the team in field goal percentage at 47.3 percent, making 156-of-330, including 36-of-75 3-pointers for a team-high 48.0 percent, which ranks second in a season … shot 82.1 percent from the line (92-of-112) … led the team in scoring seven times and scored in double figures in 23 games … was named the PSAC Tournament MVP … scored a career-high 29 points in the semifinal win over West Chester (3/3/18), making 7-of-13 field goals and 15-of-15 free throws, adding a season-high 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and a steal … in the championship win over Millersville (3/4/18), had 18 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists … had four games with 20-or-more points, including 28 points (11-of-19 FGs, 5-of-7 3’s) at Seton Hill (2/7/18) … had 25 points vs. Slippery Rock (2/14/18), making 5-of-7 3-pointers, and 24 points vs. Mercyhurst (2/24/18).
2016-17
Was named the PSAC West Freshman of the Year after being named the PSAC West Freshman of the Week three times … started the first 27 games of the season before missing a game and then seeing limited time the last two games due to an injury … in just under 23 minutes per game, averaged 8.0 ppg. with 30 assists and 29 steals … tied for third on the team in assists … shot 37.9 percent from the floor (83-of-219), making 11-of-40 3-pointers, and 77.8 percent at the line (56-of-72) … led the team in scoring three times and scored in double figures in 11 games … posted a high of 18 points against Seton Hill (2/8/17) and West Liberty (11/28/16) … added 16 points at Clarion (1/18/17) and scored 15 points on two occasions.

Played for head coach Kevin Hinkle at Kenston High School … was a three-year starter and four-year letterwinner for the Bombers … led Kenston to an 18-6 record as a senior, and was named the 2016 Western Reserve Conference MVP as the Bombers finished 14-0 in league play … averaged 20.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.3 steals, and 2.2 assists … shot 49.6 percent from the floor (170 of 343), 33.3 percent on 3-pointers (27 of 81), and 76.9 percent from the line (113 of 147) … named to Division I All-Ohio second team … earned all-conference honors and was a News Herald and Ohio North/South All-Star … played in 87 varsity games in her career, scoring 1,069 points, with 302 rebounds, 148 assists, and 201 steals … shot 46 percent for her career from the floor, 75 percent from the line, and made 65 of 201 3-pointers (32 percent) … earned first team All-Chagrin Valley Conference and first team all-county honors as a junior, and was a special mention all-district selection … averaged 13.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.4 steals, and 2.2 assists, while shooting 45 percent from the floor and 77 percent from the line … made 22 of 71 3-pointers … helped Kenston finish as sectional champion with a 15-10 record … as a sophomore, was a first team all-conference pick along with earning honorable mention all-county and all-area recognition … averaged 11.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 2.2 steals, while shooting 47 percent from the floor and 76 percent from the line … the Bombers finished with a 12-8 record … also an all-conference performer in the high jump while competing in track & field, and played volleyball two seasons.

Born March 4, 1998 … Health & Physical Education – Human Performance major with a 3.45 GPA … daughter of Laverne and Michael Barnes … has one sister (Mia) … father was a standout defensive back at Edinboro and was inducted into the Edinboro Athletic Hall of Fame in 2008 … uncle, Dwight Hollins, played basketball at Xavier and for the Philadelphia 76ers … another uncle, James Mount, plated football at Chadron State, and uncle, Paul Mount, played football at Hudson Valley cousin, Dante Mount, currently plays football at Albany… a PSAC and Edinboro Scholar-Athlete.
