Chris Kaczor ('06) was a four-year starter on the offensive line for the football team, including the last three years at center after playing guard as a freshman. He started all 45 games in his career and is one of only a few Fighting Scots to earn All-PSAC honors all four years. Playing for the Fighting Scots from 2002-06, Kaczor helped lead Edinboro to PSAC West co-championships in 2003, '04, and '05. Edinboro made the NCAA Division II playoffs in 2003 and 2004, advancing to the regional semifinal in 2004. Edinboro had a 32-13 record during his four years. He earned All-PSAC West first team honors as a junior and senior in 2005 and 2006 after earning second team accolades as a sophomore at center in 2004, and as a guard in 2003. In addition, he was named a Lindy's Magazine first team preseason All-American in 2006.  As a junior in 2005, Kaczor was a third team Football Gazette All-American, and was a first team Football Gazette All-Northeast Region pick and second team Daktronics All-Northeast Region choice. A standout in the classroom, as well, he was a two-time CoSIDA District II Academic All-American, earning the honor as a junior and senior. The 2005 Edinboro squad posted an 8-2 record and was the co-PSAC West champion. Kaczor keyed an offensive line which led the PSAC in fewest sacks allowed for the second straight year (7). Edinboro made the NCAA Division II playoffs in 2003 and '04, while also winning PSAC West co-championships. The 2004 squad finished with a 9-3 record and advanced to the regional semifinal.  Edinboro won at Bentley, 47-44, before falling at East Stroudsburg, 36-32. He helped pave the way for Andre Burke to rush for a then school-record 1,713 yards. The 2003 Fighting Scots also posted a 9-3 record and earned a berth in the NCAA Playoffs, where they lost to top-ranked Saginaw Valley State.  Kaczor now resides in Parma Heights, Ohio with his wife Lisa and three children (Kyla, Alexa, and Cameron). He is the Director of Sales ay Horizons Inc. After earning his Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies from Edinboro in 2006, he went on to complete his Master's Degree in Communication Studies from Edinboro in 2008.
