Donna Thibert-Matthews ('93) for her outstanding career as a member of the Fighting Scot Cross Country and Track and Field programs. She displayed incredible resolve while overcoming injury and illness to become a four-time All-American. Despite missing virtually her entire senior season in 1992 with illness, she returned late in the year to win the PSAC Cross Country Championship, then won the NCAA East Regional title. She would go on to finish fourth at the NCAA Division II National Championships, and was named the PSAC and East Region Runner of the Year. In 1989 she placed seventh at Nationals and won the PSAC and East Regional individual championships. That spring she finished as the runner-up in both the 3,000 and 5,000 meter races at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track Championships.
