Fred Casoli (’41) for his excellence on the basketball and tennis courts for the Red Raiders from 1937 to 1941. A hard-playing forward and accurate shooter, he went on to complete a 30-year career in the Air Force before joining the staff of the University of South Carolina. A scholarship was created in his honor following his death in 1989.
