Greg Bzorek ('05) was a four-year starter on the offensive line, three seasons at right tackle after starting at left tackle as a redshirt freshman. He started 44 of 45 career games and was named to Edinboro’s All-Time Team. One of three brothers to play for the Fighting Scots, Bzorek was a two-time Associated Press Little All-American, named to the second team in 2005 and third team in 2004. He was named to numerous other All-American teams his last two years. He was a 2005 Gene Upshaw Division II Lineman of the Year semifinalist. He was a three-time All-PSAC West honoree, including first team honors as a junior and senior. He helped Edinboro to three PSAC West co-titles (2003, ’04, ’05), and 9-3 finishes in 2003 and 2004. The Fighting Scots qualified for the NCAA Playoffs in 2003 and ’04, with the 2004 team reaching the Super Region One semifinals. Edinboro posted a 31-14 record during Bzorek’s four years. During his career, he helped pave the way for a pair of 1,000-yard rushers. At the conclusion of his career, he was selected to play in the 2006 Cactus Bowl, the Division II All-Star Game.
