J.J. (Jack) McCurry ('72) for his outstanding football career at Edinboro where he set a season
interception record (8) and the mark (85 yards) for the longest scoring punt return. An All-American and All-Conference defensive back who played on the best football team in Edinboro’s history and was equally successful in the classroom where he was salutatorian of his class. Selected Pennsylvania High School Coach of the Year.
