Jacobs was a standout on some of the best football teams to ever take the field for the Fighting Scots. He played his freshman season as an offensive lineman before moving to defensive end and playing the next three seasons on the defensive side. He was a Second-Team All-PSAC choice in 1988 and a First-Team All-Conference selection in 1990. He finished his career with over 120 tackles including a career high 66 in his senior season.
