Joe Brooks ('90) for his outstanding career as a member of the Fighting Scot Football program. A four year starter at guard and center, he earned All-PSAC honors in 1988 at center and All-PSAC recognition in 1989 at guard. In addition, he was named a Football Gazette second team All American in 1989, and that same year was named to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette All-Star Team. He served as a co-captain on the 1989 football team which won the PSAC championship and was Edinboro's first-ever NCAA Division II Playoff team. He had the highest grade point average on the football team and was a National Football Foundation Scholarship Banquet recipient, along with being nominated for an NCAA Post-Graduate Scholarship.
