Jon Grafious ('96) was a standout on the men’s swimming team from 1992-96. A ten-time All-American, he was named to Edinboro’s All-Time Team. He still holds the school record in the 400-yard IM and previously held the record in the 200-yard butterfly. As a freshman in 1992-93, he was a three-time All-American, in the 1650-yard freestyle, 200-yard butterfly, and 400-yard IM. He also finished as a runner-up at the PSAC Championships, and set school records in the 200-yard butterfly and 400-yard IM. The next year, he was a seven-time All-American, coming in fourth in the 200-yard medley relay, fifth in the 400-yard medley relay, and seventh in the 800-yard freestyle relay. He was also an All-American in the 200-yard butterfly, 400-yard IM, 500-yard freestyle, and 1650-yard freestyle. He earned All-PSAC honors in four events at the PSAC Championships, with a first place finish in the 400-yard IM, along with second in the 200-yard butterfly and 1650-yard freestyle. He broke his own school records in the 200-yard butterfly and 400-yard IM.
