Mandie (Moyer) Koch (‘00) is one of the finest volleyball players to ever perform at Edinboro.  She was a three-time AVCA All-Atlantic Region and All-PSAC West performer while playing middle hitter from 1996-99.  She helped Edinboro to PSAC championships in 1997 and ’98 along with Atlantic Region titles in 1996 and 1998 for trips to the Elite Eight.  During her career the Fighting Scots posted a 104-45 record.  She ranks among the all-time leaders in blocks, including holding the career record for block assists (470) and total blocks (552).  She is also tied for third in games played (466), seventh in career kills (1,130), second in career hitting percentage (.355), and third in block solos (82).  She started as a freshman, finishing second on the team in kills (321) and leading the team in total blocks (157), block solos (21) and block assists (136).  Edinboro won the Atlantic Region title and advanced to the Elite Eight after finishing second in the PSAC Championship match.  In 1997 she once again paced the Fighting Scots in total blocks (156), block solos (21) and block assists (135).  She would earn second team All-PSAC West honors and AVCA All-Atlantic Region accolades as Edinboro won the PSAC championship and lost in the Atlantic Regional final. The Fighting Scots won both the PSAC and Atlantic Region crowns in 1998, as she was again named a second team All-PSAC West and AVCA Atlantic Region honoree.  She would finish fourth in kills (312) while making it three straight years as the team leader in blocks with a school-record 186 total, including 27 block solos and 159 block assists, the latter figure also a school record.  Her senior year saw Edinboro reach both the PSAC and Atlantic Region championship matches.  She was a first team All-PSAC West selection and earned All-Atlantic Region accolades for the third straight year.  She would end the year second in kills (375) and led the team in hitting percentage for the fourth straight year.  She once again led the team in total blocks (137) and block assists (118) while ranking second in block solos (19).
