Marty (Marczak) McLaughlin ('93) for her outstanding career as a member of the Fighting Scot Cross Country and Track and Field programs. She was a two-time All-American in track, being named the 1992 Eastern "Small College" Athlete of the Year. She was also recognized as the 1992 PSAC Outstanding Athlete in track after finishing second in the NCAA Division II Championships in the 800 meters. A four-time All-PSAC honoree in track and a five-time PSAC individual champion, she set Edinboro, PSAC and NCAA Regional records in the 800 meters. In cross country, she twice earned All-Region honors while capturing All-PSAC accolades three times. She was a finalist for the 1992 NCAA Woman of the Year Award, and a 1992 Olympic Trials qualifier in the 800 meters.
