Pam Artman ('95) ranks as one of the top point guards in Edinboro women’s basketball history. While playing from 1991-95, she helped the Fighting Scots to a 65-46 record during that period, including 22-8 in 1991-92 and 18-12 and an NCAA playoff berth in 1992-93.  She is one of 25 players to score 1,000 career points, currently ranking 24th in career scoring with 1,021 points. But more important, she was an outstanding playmaker and defender.  She ranks second in career assists with 500, and holds the school record for career steals with 304.  The Pittsburgh native also ranks among the career leaders in field goals made (400) and attempted (1,060) and games played, standing sixth at 110 games.
From a season standpoint she holds three of the top 15 season figures for assists, including the eighth-highest season total with 146 in 1992-93. Her 96 steals in 1994-95 ranks second all-time, and she also holds the tenth-highest total with 82 in 1992-93.  The 5’7” guard was a first team All-PSAC West selection as a senior in 1994-95 when she averaged 14.1 ppg., adding 132 assists and 96 steals.  She averaged 10.5 ppg. as a junior.
