Rich Iorfido ('73) outstanding career as a member of the Fighting Scot Football program. A linebacker, he played from 1970-72 and is tied for third in career tackles with 432. That includes 171 in 1972, the third-highest season total, and 141 in 1970, the eighth-highest total. He played for the legendary teams in 1970 and 1971 that finished 9-1 each year. The 1970 team won the PSAC Championship and played in the NAIA Semifinals, and the 1971 team lost in the PSAC title game. He still holds the single-game record for tackles with 30 vs. Indiana(Pa.) in 1972. He earned first team All-PSAC honors in 1970 and '72, and was the Most Valuable Defensive Player in the PSAC in '70. In 1971 he was accorded NAIA honorable mention All-American honors.
