Samantha (Reimer) Faler was a standout for the women's basketball team from 2006-2010. The guard departed as teh all-time leading scorer with 1,926 points, a record which stood until 2020. She was the 2009-10 Nancy Acker Award winner as the Senior Female Athlete of the Year. Faler was a three-time All-PSAC West honoree, earning first-team recognition as a sophomore and senior, and second-team as a junior. As a senior, she was a Women's Division II Bulletin honorable mention All-American. She is teh only player in school history to score 500 or more points in three seasons. In addition she holds the career record for free throws made with 640, and free thorws attempted with 755. Faler Concluded her career averaging 17.5 points per game in 110 contests. That ranks third all-tme at Edinboro. She ranked second in teh PSAC in scoring as a sophomore, fourht as a junior and fifth as a senior.
