Seth Fragale ('04) began his career as a member of the wrestling team before switching to football and becoming a three-year starter at defensive end/linebacker and three-time All-PSAC West selection. Playing from 2002-05, he started 33 games and was named to Edinboro’s All-Time Team. He was named the PSAC West Defensive Player of the Year as a junior while earning first team All-PSAC West honors as a junior and senior and second team as a sophomore. As a junior, Fragale earned D2Football.com and Football Gazette honorable mention All-American honors. As a senior, he was a Football Gazette All-Northeast Region and Daktronics All-Northeast Region second team choice. He helped lead the Fighting Scots to PSAC West co-championships in 2003, ’04, and ’05. Edinboro made the NCAA Division II playoffs in 2003 and 2004. Fragale enjoyed his finest season as a junior in 2004, helping Edinboro to a 9-3 record and reaching the Super Region One semifinals. He was named the PSAC West Defensive Player of the Year after finishing with 100 tackles, including 11 tackles for losses and a team-high 5.5 sacks.
