Sterling Washington ('92) for his outstanding career as a member of the Fighting Scot Men’s Basketball program. After serving in the Army, he played three seasons at Edinboro scoring 931 points and pulling down 526 rebounds. As a senior in 1990-91, he was a first team All-PSAC West selection after averaging 17.4 ppg. and 8.5 rpg., with 75 steals. He was recognized as an outstanding defensive performer, finishing his career with 161 steals and blocking 83 shots. Edinboro had a 54-27 record during his three seasons, including 22-5 in 1989-90. Following graduation, he was hired as an assistant coach at Edinboro.
