Vyto Bankaitis (’78) for his accomplishments at Edinboro epitomizing the student-athlete concept. Eight time All-American swimmer for the Scots. Specializing in the 100 and 200 breaststroke. Earned a 4.0 GPA in biology. In 1978, was awarded an NCAA post-graduate scholarship, one of just six nationally. Owns a doctorate from North Carolina University.
