Harry Pappas (’60) for his outstanding career as a member of the Fighting Scot Men’s Tennis program. From 1956 through 1960 he won 90 percent of his singles matches and 82 percent of his doubles matches while competing mainly at the number one position. The top player on undefeated teams in 1958 and 1959, he would serve as the team captain in 1959 and ’60. Upon graduating from Edinboro, he has enjoyed a successful coaching and playing career while teaching mathematics. He won the Pacific Palisades Singles and Doubles Tournament twice, and assisted in conducting the famous Dudley Cup Tennis Tournament in Santa Monica, CA. He has shared his knowledge and skills in the game of tennis with hundreds of people.
