Hope Mancini (Mayfield Heights, Ohio / Mayfield Heights) Led Edinboro in scoring in both games to open the season at the Atlantic Region Challenge after missing the final 20 games of last season. She scored 26 points in the season-opener against Chowan on 7-for-18 from the floor, 4-for-8 on 3-pointers, and a perfect 8-for-8 at the free throw line. The 26 points were the second-highest in her career. Mancini then scored 14 points against Virginia-Wise shooting 5-for-9 from the field and 2-for-5 on 3-pointers. The graduate student guard is 6-for-13 on 3-pointers good for 46.2 percent after making 40.8 percent from beyond the arc last season, the fifth-best percentage in school history.
