This week’s Fighting Scots Female Athlete of the Week is sophomore Meghan Kelly (Mars, PA/Mars Area). Meghan helped guide the Boro soccer team to a pair of shutout victories during the week, posting a 3-0 win vs. Bloomsburg and then a 2-0 triumph at Shippensburg in net. Meghan turned away six shots in each match to preserve the blankings. She now has tallied shutouts in three of four matches while putting together a 4-0 overall record as the Scots have matched the best-ever start in school history. For the season, she has recorded three shutouts while allowing just one goal. In all, she has posted a 0.250 GAA with 17 total saves.

For her efforts, Meghan was also named PSAC Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week.
