Staci Schrecongost (New Kensington, Pa. / Valley) competed at the NCAA Division II Swimming & National Championships this past week and made it a memorable appearance. The senior freestyler earned All-American honors with a seventh place finish in the 200-yard freestyle. She broke her own school record by finishing in 1:49.85. The following day in the 500-yard freestyle, Schrecongost earned honorable mention All-American honors placing 15th with a time of 4:58.69. She added a 22nd place finish in the 100-yard freestyle (51.37) on the final day. Schrecongost is a Health Promotion major.
