The Edinboro wrestling team capped off a historic weekend with its highest placing in school history at the 2015 NCAA Division I National Championships. Four Edinboro wrestlers earned All-American honors while Dave Habat (149 lbs.) and Mitchell Port (141 lbs.) were runner-ups. The other two Fighting Scots All-Americans were A.J. Schopp (133 lbs.) and Vic Avery (184 lbs.), marking only the second time the Scots have had four All-Americans with the 1988 squad being the only other. Schopp also earned the Manuel Gorrarian award for the most pins in the least time while he and Port became just the seventh and eighth Edinboro wrestlers to earn All-American honors three times.

Edinboro finished third in the final team standings with 75.5 points trailing only Ohio State (102 points) and Iowa (84 points). Kory Mines (125 lbs.) and Vince Pickett (197 lbs.) were the other two Edinboro wrestlers to compete at Nationals. Mines advanced to the Quarterfinals where he lost to eventual National Champion Nathan Tomasello of Ohio State and Pickett lost in the first round to Nathan Burak of Iowa.
