Vitor Albanese (Barueri, Brazil) was named PSAC Men’s Tennis Athlete of the Week for the second straight week after posting a pair of wins over top-ranked opponents. At West Liberty Friday, the second-ranked singles player in the Atlantic Region by Oracle/ITA defeated the region’s top-ranked Baptiste Perrin, 6-4 and 6-4. He then paired up with Camilo Moncayo to beat Andrew Ponder and Santiago Gutierrez, the number-one duo in the region, by an 8-6 score. On Saturday at Davis & Elkins, he defeated Vincent Hamon, 6-2 and 6-3, and, with Moncayo, beat Hamon and Jack Clifton, 8-6.
