This week’s Fighting Scots Male Athlete of the Week is senior linebacker Bruce Davis (Cleveland, OH/Glenville/Iowa). Bruce helped the Edinboro to a 44-24 victory on Homecoming over rival Gannon by keying a strong defensive effort. He led the Scots with eight solo tackles including a pair of sacks good for 17 yards in losses. Bruce was named PSAC West Defensive Player of the Week on Sunday for his efforts. In his first season with Edinboro after transferring from Iowa, he is second on the team in tackles with 40 and tied for the team lead in both tackles for loss (five) and sacks (two).
