Katie Fischer (Ambridge, Pa. / Ambridge) was an integral part of Edinboro going 3-0 this past week and opening PSAC play with a 2-0 ledger. In Wednesday's win over Daemen, Fischer scored 29 points and set a new career high with seven 3-pointers. On Saturday, the senior guard tallied 13 points in a win at Millersville and on Sunday, she led the Fighting Scots with 20 points in a comeback victory against the PSAC East preseason favorite, Shippensburg.
