This week’s Fighting Scots Male Athlete of the Week is sophomore Matt Link (Avon Lake, OH/Avon Lake). Matt was key in Edinboro’s men’s cross country PSAC championship victory on Saturday afternoon at Slippery Rock. The victory marked the 29th conference title in Edinboro men’s history, the most in the PSAC. Link locked the victory for the Fighting Scots as he came across the line in sixth with a time of 25:41.1 “(Matt) Link was the key to the easy win,” head coach Doug Watts said following the competition.
