This week's Fighting Scots Female Athlete of the Week is senior Karisa Fernandez (Zeilenople, Pa./Seneca Valley). Karisa scored game-winning goals in key victories over East Stroudsburg and Mansfield, helping Edinboro secure the No. 4 seed and a home quarterfinal match in upcoming PSAC Tournament  and also scored a pair of goals against ESU in crucial match for regional seeding. She also tallied two assists in the regular season finale. Karisa now stands third all-time in career goals for a Fighting Scot by herself with 32, breaking a tie held with Angie de Almeida and also moved into third in school history in career points with 84. For the season, she has nine goals and 21 points this season.
