Austin Pondel (Columbus, Pa.) took sixth place overall with a time of 25:01.2 at the GLVC Conference Crossover on Saturday at Lewis University. The meet consisted of 32 teams with 361 total runners. Pondel has been Edinboro’s top finisher in three consecutive meets. He previously placed fourth at the Paul Short Invitational and tenth at the Spike Shoe Invitational. Pondel is set to compete at the PSAC Championships on Oct. 21 in California(Pa.).
