Ciara Rosten was named Edinboro’s Athlete of the Week for her performance in the Conference Crossover over this weekend.

The 6’2” senior forward collected her first double-double of the season in a 89-79 upset of 2016-17 national runner-up and second-ranked Virginia Union on Saturday. She scored 20 points on 7-of-12 shooting, grabbed 15 rebounds, dished out a career-high five assists and went 6-of-7 from the charity stripe.

In the Fighting Scots 68-56 win over UVa-Wise on Sunday, she scored 15 points, collected six boards and blocked three shots in just 21 minutes.

Rosten was also recognized as the PSAC West Women’s Basketball Athlete of the Week on Monday.
