This week’s Fighting Scots Male Athlete of the Week is junior swimmer Jared Malecki (Lower Burrell, PA/Burrell). Jared qualified for the PSAC Championships in three events against Allegheny on Saturday November 10. He will be representing Edinboro at the championships in the 200 Freestyle, 100 Breaststroke, and 200 Breaststroke. He also qualified for the championships in the 100 Freestyle on October 26 at the Westminster Relays, and the 200 Individual Medley on November 2 against Malone. He will be making the trip to the PSAC Championships for the third year in a row after qualifying during the 2011 and 2012 campaigns.
