Hope finished 27th at the 2018 NCAA Div. II Women's Cross Country National Championships to earn All-America honors. Pietrocarlo, who finished third at the Atlantic Regional, would finish with a time of 23:18.5 to earn All-American honors. She made a huge jump after finishing 151st a year ago. Pietrocarlo is Edinboro's first All-American since Ida Narbuvoll came in 37th in 2015.

"It feels awesome," exclaimed Pietrocarlo. "So awesome, I can't believe it. I'm still trying to take it all in. "It feels great," she said. "It pays off for everything that happened this season. And Just ending on a good note is the way I wanted it to go."
