The 6'2" guard did something on Wednesday that has not been done at Edinboro since 2008. He recorded a triple-double against UPJ, the first since Ryan McLemore's against Slippery Rock in February 2008. Simpson finished with 25 points, his ninth game with 20-or-more points, adding a career-high 14 rebounds, and matching his career-high with 11 assists. He made 8-of-17 shots, including 3-of-9 3-pointers, and was a perfect 6-for-6 at the line. He followed that up with a 13-point effort at California(Pa.) despite battling foul trouble. He added three rebounds and three assists.
