This week's Fighting Scots Co-Athlete of the Week is a redshirt sophomore wrestler Mitchell Port (Bellefonte, PA/Bellefonte Area). Mitchell defeated Virginia Tech’s Zach Neibert 7-5 in a thrilling match yesterday in McComb Fieldhouse. Port, ranked 5th in the country, trailed Neifert 4-2 heading in to the third period. Mitchell scored an escape to make it 4-3, but Neifert was still in line to score the point for riding time. With just 25 seconds remaining, Port scored a takedown to score two points, tying the match at 5 after the third period. In OT, Port scored a single-leg takedown 34 seconds left in sudden-victory to get the win 7-5.
