This week's Fighting Scots Co-Athlete of the Week is junior swimmer Alexis Berdine (Moon Township, PA/Moon Area). Alexis qualified for the NCAA Division II National Championships in seven events over the three-day Wooster Invitational held last Thursday-Saturday. She also broke the Edinboro school record in the 50 Freestyle with a time of 23.92 and the 100 Backstroke in a time of 57.23. She won the 50 Free, 200 Medley Relay, 100 Back, and 400 Medley Relay. Her second place finishes include a 200 Free Relay, 200 Back, 400 Free Relay. She finished first or second and qualified for the NCAA’s in every event in which she competed.
