Katelyn Kopacko (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Mechanicsburg) led Edinboro to a third place finish at the Wooster Invitational. The senior competed in seven events, and ended up winning five of those, along with a second place finish and fifth place showing. She broke her won school record and recorded an NCAA B time while winning the 50-yard freestyle, posting a time of 22.93. That was also an invite record and pool record. In addition, she won the 100-yard freestyle (52.28), along with swimming legs of three winning relay teams -- the 200 and 400-yard freestyle relays and the 400-yard medley relay. All told, Kiopacko scored 337 points in the invitational.
