Michaela Barnes (Lakewood, Ohio/Kenston) scored 24 points against UPJ, adding four assists and a pair of steals. She made 10-of-15 field goals and went 4-of-5 at the line. Barnes scored a season-high 35 points against Cal. Barnes had 14 of her points in the fourth quarter, including a string of 12 straight points at one point. Barnes has now scored 30-or-more points four times this season and seven times in her career. She boosted her scoring average to 23.1 ppg., good for second in the PSAC and third in Division II. She moved up two spots in the career scoring charts to fifth with 1,582 points.
