This week’s Fighting Scots Female Athlete of the Week is senior Ashley Black (Waterford, Pa./Fort LeBoeuf).  Ashley drove in seven runs in Edinboro’s doubleheader sweep at No. 22 Gannon last Tuesday.  The six RBIs from Black in game two were part of a 4-for-6 day at the plate along with two runs scored.  Her two-run home run broke a sixth inning 7-7 tie in game two and helped send the Boro to victory.  She now owns 65 RBIs for her Edinboro career, moving her just one away from a tie for fifth in school history.  For the season, she leads the team in RBIs with 22 and also paces the team with four home runs.
