This week’s Fighting Scots Male Athlete of the Week is freshman tennis player Amir Talab (Miami, FL/Miami Killian). Talab was a perfect 4-0 at the PSAC Championships, leading the Fighting Scots to a runner-up finish.  He scored two doubles wins and two singles wins to lead Edinboro.  Talab is 13-12 on the season in singles play, drawing the opponent’s top player much of the time.  He was a leader on the Fighting Scots tennis squad that at 16-7, had their best season since re-adding men’s tennis in 2010-2011.
