In a thrilling opening night victory, senior quarterback Cody Harris guided the Edinboro football team to a 35-34 victory against Walsh. In the game, Harris threw for 306 yards, four touchdowns, completed 76.6 percent of his passes, and tacked on 23 rushing yards.

With the performance, Harris moved up in multiple career statistics, most notably moving into fourth place all-time in passing touchdowns and becoming only the fifth Fighting Scot to achieve 50 career passing scores

Harris' four scores through the air currently ranks top ten in Division II.
