Female Athlete of the Week - Oranza Carrillo continued her strong season for the Fighting Scots, advancing to the Round of 16 at the USTA/ITA Atlantic Regional Championships. She won her first match against Julia Ochoa of West Virginia Wesleyan (6-0, 6-0) and the second against Taylor Todd of Charleston (W.Va.) (6-2, 6-1). She lost in the quarterfinals to Nikolina Grbac of Slippery Rock (6-2, 6-1).

Carrillo is now 7-2 overall in singles matches and has won six sets without allowing a single point.
