Goezde Tekin (Berlin, Germany) bolstered the Fighting Scots to a first-place finish at the College of Wooster Invitational on Dec. 5-7 with several record-breaking performances. Tekin swam school record times of 2:06.62 in the 200-yard IM, 4:29.42 in the 400-yard IM, and 2:03.09 in the 200-yard butterfly. She was also part of a 200-yard freestyle relay team that set a school record in the event with a mark of 1:35.97, and a 200-yard medley relay team that set a Wooster Invitational record time of 1:45.86. Tekin finished with a total of four first-place finishes for the Invitational.
