In his last career Edinboro home meets, Jared Malecki (Lower Burrell, PA/Burrell) posted two strong days against Shippensburg. On Friday, January 10, Malecki was a part of the relay teams that won the 400 yard medley relay and 200 yard backstroke relay during mixed relay competition. On Saturday, January 11 in the dual meet, he won the 200 yard freestyle and 200 yard backstroke. Malecki's freestyle time of 1:48.98 was good enough to qualify him for the PSAC Championships.
