Former Edinboro tennis player Kody Duncan returned to his alma mater as the interim men's and women's tennis coach on August 18, 2017. He had the interim tag removed in May of 2018 and is now in his seventh season in charge of the program.

On the men's side in 2022-23, the Scots claimed their third straight PSAC Championship and Duncan earned his first PSAC Coach of the Year honor. The Scots advanced to the sub-regional final. Six players were named All-PSAC First-Teamers.

The 2022-23 women's squad finished 7-11 overall and 4-3 in the PSAC West just missing the PSAC postseason. Cecilia Carayol was a second-team All-PSAC West choice.

In the 2021-22 season Duncan led the men's team to a (15-6) overall record and (5-0) in the PSAC. Duncan and the men's team defeated Mercyhurst University in the PSAC championship match for the second consective year. The team rode their sucess all the way too Altamonte Springs, Fla. for nationals. The Scots finally fell to the Barry University in the round of sixteen. Barry University went onto to win the Division II national title.

Duncan was responsible for four of his players earning All-PSAC honors in the 2021-22 season. Ruben Acuna, Bruno Sabio, and Gustavo Martins earned first team bids in singles. While Thibault Dorval earned a second team bid in singles. The duo of Rocco Palombarini and Bruno Sabio were awarded All-PSAC first team in doubles.

In the 2021-22 season Duncan led the women's team to a strong (12-8) overall record and (3-3) in conference play. The women missed the PSAC post-season by a hair, as they were one match out of the top three in the west. 

Duncan played for Underwood and the Fighting Scots from 2011-15 before graduating from Edinboro with a bachelor's degree in HPE – Human Performance. He took over at Edinboro after a short stint at Allegheny College, where he was the assistant men's and women's tennis coach from  June 2017 until his appointment as Edinboro’s interim head coach..
 
A native of Oil City, Pa., Duncan finished with a 43-26 record in singles action as a Fighting Scot, and was 26-28 in doubles play.  He was part of two PSAC championship teams, including playing an integral role on the 2013-14 squad that finished 19-9, winning the PSAC title and advancing to the NCAA Division II Sweet 16.  His top season came in 2012-13, when as a sophomore he earned All-PSAC accolades in doubles play. He finished the year at 18-8 in singles action and 13-7 in doubles.
 
Duncan was also outstanding in the classroom, as well. He earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors as a sophomore and junior, and was a PSAC Scholar Athlete.
 
Duncan graduated from Edinboro in the fall of 2015 and currently resides in Edinboro. He served as a volunteer assistant tennis coach at Oil City High School that fall, and has also worked at the Oil City YMCA. In addition, he served as the Oil City boys head soccer coach from August 2015-May 2016. He moved on to Moravian College in July 2016 and remained working in the athletic department as assistant equipment manager until taking the position at Allegheny.
