EDINBORO, Pa. (Nov. 3, 2012) – The Edinboro men's swimming team suffered a 142-119 loss to Bloomsburg on Saturday afternoon in the first home meet of the season.

Edinboro (0-3) had several good individual performances on the day.

Tony Romanini took part in four first place finishes, touching first in the 200-yard butterfly (1:58.65), the 200-yard backstrojke (1:57.70) and the 200-yard IM (1:57.72).  He also swam a leg of the winning 200-yard medley relay, which included jared Malecki, darren Suroviec and Ryan Sestak (1:37.66).

Suroviec won the 100 yard backstroke in a time of 53.66 and the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 52.47.  Malecki took home the 100 yard freestyle win in a time of 1:02.32 and also won the 200 yard breaststroke with a time of 2:15.41.   

The men travel to Allegheny next Saturday, November 10 to take on the Gators.
