EDINBORO, Pa. (Oct. 11, 2013) – Over 30 members of the Edinboro football team participated in the Roosevelt Project on Wednesday, October 9. The event featured 168 kids from the Erie School District taking part in a host of activities on the Edinboro campus. The Edinboro football team interacted with the kids from 10 a.m. to 12 noon in the Mike S. Zafirovski Sports & Recreation Dome. They played soccer, football, and basketball with the kids, along with various other activities.
"This was a great experience for our players," related head coach
Scott Browning. "They really enjoyed working with the kids, and I think the kids really enjoyed the interaction with our players. We look forward to the next time we can do a community service project like this."
